Baraboo Public Library

eReader Training Series

The Baraboo Public Library will be having a series of training sessions for eReader devices to help individuals get started borrowing books using Wisconsin’s Digital Library provided by the Wisconsin Public Library Consortium.   The following devices will be covered on the days listed below:

  • Amazon Kindle: Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 6:30 pm
  • Barnes and Noble Nook and other eReaders: Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 6:30 pm
  • iPads and Android tablets:  Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 6:30 pm

All sessions will be held in the Baraboo Public Library Program Room. 

The eReader devices featured at the training sessions were purchased with funds generously provided by the Friends of the Baraboo Public Library.  For more information, call 356-6166.

The Auto Repair Reference Center, provided by BadgerLink, has repair information for many vehicles, domestic and imported, from 1945 to present.

 

LearningExpress Library

LearningExpress Library is an online resource provided by BadgerLink that offers practice tests based on such exams as the ACT, SAT, GED, and ASVAB.  It also has many other exercises and skill-building courses for learners of all ages.
