GAELIC HARPIST EVENT THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 22ND
We are very excited to welcome Mr. Jeff Pockat, Gaelic harpist, to the library on Thursday, September 22nd at 6:30 p.m. Mr. Pockat is "a self-taught Celtic harp (Gaelic harp) musician and composer." He will be performing traditional and original music on the Ancient Wire Strung Celtic Harp, as well as chatting about the historical background of harps and harp music. STUFFED ANIMAL SLEEPOVER THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 29TH
We're starting to gear up for our annual Stuffed Animal Sleepover...our annual night of fun for the animals and their owners. Plan on doing some activities and having some treats with your animal, and then leave them here for the night to see what kind of fun they have without you! Details coming soon, so stay tuned!
ADULT BOOK DISCUSSION GROUPS
We have TWO book discussion groups. Each month's books are always available for check-out at the library prior to the meeting.
POPULAR PICKS DISCUSSION GROUP: This group is led by Rachael and meets to discuss a variety of titles. Please call the library at 764-8102 to find out when the next meeting will be. Registration is not required.
ADULT BOOK DISCUSSION GROUP: This group meets every 4th Sunday of the month led by Leah with a summer break from May through August. Please stop by in for a list of books that are being read starting September 25.
Story Time is geared toward toddlers ages 2 to 5 every Wednesday from 10:00 - 10:30 a.m. (THERE WILL BE NO STORY TIMES IN AUGUST.) Stories and a variety of engaging crafts and activities make these a wonderful outing for you and your child. Please come in and check out the fun!
