What's It Worth? - Antiques Appraisal Show with Mark Moran Returns Saturday, June 22, 2013 2:30PM - 5:30PM
This antiques appraisal event is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Mazomanie Free Library and the Friends of the Black Earth Library. This year it will be held at the District One EMS Building; 316 W. Commercial St. (Hwy. 14) in Mazomanie. Space is limited to 40 and registration is required. There is a $5 per item appraisal fee plus a $5 admission fee which will benefit both libraries. To register call 795-2104.
Dig Into Reading - Summer Library Program - June 17 - July 26, 2013
PreK-5th grade kids can come to the library this summer and read for fun and prizes! Here's how it works: Get your reading record and start logging your reading time. When you have read 5 hours, bring your reading record to the library and you'll get a prize! Read for 10 hours to get a "pack-o-prizes." Teens in 6th - 12th grade can also participate in their own reading program to win fun prizes! (See "For Children")
The library uses Enterprise Wireless. With Enterprise Wireless, patrons just need to select the "Library-Wireless" signal, connect and go! No more logging in with accounts and agreeing to terms of service first. WiFi signal is accessible 24 hours/seven days/week.
