Other agencies that provide free computer classes
The
Lowell Center offers one-on-one tutoring sessions for people that
would like to learn how to use a computer, the Internet, Email, etc.
Tutoring appointments are available on a first-come, first-serve basis
and anyone over 50 may schedule an appointment at the Lowell Center
Office. Volunteer tutors will teach people how to use the computer, but
won't assist them with personal matters, completing paperwork online,
etc. Their Computer Classroom is also available to adults that would
like to use a computer for word processing or Internet access. Sometimes
they have a program scheduled in the Computer Classroom, so if someone
would like to use a computer, they may want to call their office first
(421-1051) to see if the room is available when they'd like to come in.
