School and Group Services
School classes, groups, and community organizations may schedule a visit to the library. A visit may include an orientation to the library and its services and collections, online library catalog or databases instruction, book talks, storytime, storytelling, or other activities appropriate to your group's needs. Library staff will visit classrooms and daycares for a variety of presentations that include book talks, storytime or storytelling activities, Summer Reading Program promotion, and online library catalog or databases instruction appropriate to your group's needs. The Oregon Public Library would like to help students and teachers with their assignment needs. Any information that you can provide as the instructor would be helpful so that we may give your students the best possible service. Please return this form and student assignment instructions in person to the Information Desk, by email email@example.com, or fax 608-835-2856, a week before the assignment is given to your students.
The Teacher Collection program is here to help teachers and daycare providers find resources at Oregon Public Library and South Central Library System . For the best service, please give us 3-5 days prior notice to when you need them. Otherwise, we might not have the staff available to handle the request. If given more time we can request useful materials from other libraries. Please return this form in person to the Information Desk, by email firstname.lastname@example.org, or fax 608-835-2856 . There is a limit of five holds requests per topic. If you need more please talk to staff.
