Resources for Parents and Teachers
Schools, Day Cares, and other groups can arrange to visit the library and explore the many materials and services that the library has available. Short storyhour programs can also be arranged in conjunction with the tours. For more information on library tours contact the library at 643-8318.
The Prairie du Sac Library maintains a collection of books and magazines to aid parents, preschool teachers, and teachers in the development of theme units. New titles are added to this collection on a regular basis. When browsing the shelves, look for the apple symbol. Also located in this collection will be some current materials on Homeschooling and Accelerated
Reader Lists for the local elementary schools.
This collection contains a variety of books, magazines, and videos that will aid parents from birth to the teen years that the library started with assistance from the Wisconsin State Journal Empty Stocking Grant.
Additional materials have been added over the years to expand and enhance the collection.
