 March is here! Make sure to check out all the new books and attend a program. There is always something happening at your hometown library. Check out "5" or more items at the same time and enter a drawing for a $10 gift certificate to The Apothecary.

Upcoming Events & Programs

Register for programs and events by calling the library at 715-884-6500. Stop in anytime in April to get help with the free Libby app for phones and tablets. It's a great way to read and listen to audiobooks!

"Free Zumba with Elsa Voight" - April 6 and April 13 at 10am in the Community Center. 

"Free Saturday Morning Yoga Classes with Bridget Pember" - March 23, March 30 , April 20 and April 27 at 10am in the library. Limited space!

"Write Now" - Join us  at 11:30am on March 27 and April 24. If you have any interest in writing and would like encouragement and feedback on your writing, this is the group for you. Designed to nurture your inner writer. No registration required. 

"Yarnies & Friends" -  April 4 & 18 at 10am-2pm in the Community Center. Bring your own project to work on. Knitting, crocheting, quilting, stamping, whatever craft you love to work on! 

"Community Connection with Jason Knott" - April 9 at 1pm. Meet Pittsville School's District Administrator. Learn more about the school district, ask questions, and get connected with Jason. We will serve the coffee. No registration required.

"Cribbage Club" -April 11 & 25 at 1pm. We welcome seasoned cribbage players, so-so cribbage players, and individuals wanting to learn how to play cribbage. No registration required.

"Card Class" - Get creative on April 16 at 1pm with volunteer Mary Buffington and her wonderful card designs.  Register at 715-884-6500. Donations appreciated and cover Mary's supplies.

"Adult Book Club" - April 17 at 1pm to discuss "Remarkably Bright Creatures." Limited copies and discussion questions available at the library. 

"Hummingbird Perch Craft Class" - April 23 at 1pm. Make a wire and bead perch for the hummers that visit your yard to rest between visiting your feeders. Free class but you must register.

"Music with Campfire Kevin" - April 30 at 2pm - Kevin Murphy is a guitar player and singer from the WI Dells area and plays a variety of music. Help us welcome him to the library for his first visit! Registration appreciated.

"Coloring Club" - Meets each Friday at 10am-12pm. Bring your own supplies or use ours. No registration required.

"Story Time" - Every Wednesday with Mary at 10:30am. She reads great books and plans fun activities for your toddler and preschoolers. No registration required.

Friendship Book Club - Since 2020, we have curated a  selection of titles with two copies for you and a friend to read and have your own book club during the winter months. See the special display with new titles and even free bookmarks.

 

How to Use Libby- Your yellow library card gives you FREE access to ebooks and audiobooks through the Libby app. Download the free app on your device and choose Pittsville Community Library (South Central Library System). Enter 54466 and then your three or four digit library card number. Call the library at 715-884-6500 if you need assistance.
