The theme for Teen Read Week is "Turn Dreams into Reality"

Throughout all of October, YALSA's YA Lit blog, The Hub, is featuring blog posts from their teen guest bloggers from our Teen Read Week Teen Blogging Contest.

Topics range from How to Get over a Fictional Death to The Beauty of Short Stories, and more so be sure to check out  "The Hub" every day in October to see the blog posts by our lovely teen bloggers.

Check out the Teen bulletin board during the week and browse books on display that are geared for Teen Read Week.

Thanks to former Portage High School student, Tiffany Nazer, the Teen Space now a "cat-terific" wire sculpture lounging around! The wire art, entitled "Cool Cat" is sitting atop the graphic novel/nonfiction shelf. We think it's pretty awesome! Thanks, Tiffany, for sharing your talents!

The Portage High School Art Club

has started a mural in the Teen Space. The mural features a characters, titles, and themes from numerous classic books. Be sure to stop in & look for Hedwig! ---The Mural is done!! Take a look below.

They did a wonderful job!  It looks great!
