	Babygarten: Monday, June 4 @ 10AM Parents, caregivers, siblings and babies 0-24 months are welcome to join us in the Community Room for 45 minutes of books, songs, rhymes and free playtime. No need to register.
	Junior Lunch Bunch Tuesday, June 5 @ Noon These storytimes are for families with preschoolers and their siblings. Everyone is invited to bring a picnic lunch and a blanket to the Community Room for 45 minutes of stories, puppets and music. No need to register.
	Wednesday Morning Storytime June 6 @ 10 AM This is a “second helping” of Junior Lunch Bunch for families or daycare groups that may prefer storytime without the picnic lunch.
	Friday is Teen Time: Friday, June 8 @ 2pm A flyer which lists the Teen Time events for children going into 6th through 12th grades will be available in the Teen Area of the Library.

	Musicians: Ken Lonnquist and Jon Vriesacker Tuesday, June 12 @ 6:30 in the Library’s Community Room. Join Ken, a much-loved performer and songwriter, and Jon, a native son who loves to play the fiddle, for a concert to kick-off to the Summer Library Program. What a great way to celebrate Reedsburg’s Butterfest.

	"On the Lighter Side" Discussion Group Thursday, June 14 @ 10 AM June Book: Weird Sisters by Eleanor Brown Book Clubs are where you can meet to discuss book selections (both fiction and nonfiction) with other people. Books for group discussion are available at the library.
	Mary Tooley- Thursday, June 14 Curious Kids(children entering 1st-3rd grades) 1pm Quest Seekers(children entering 4th and 5th grades) 3pm Performer, Mary Tooley and her program called “Going Batty-Animals that Work the Night Shift”. We will learn about nocturnal creatures including raccoons, owls, skunks and each child will create a possum project to take home. Registration is required.
	READING EDUCATION ASSISTANCE DOG (R.E.A.D.) Thursday, June 14 (2-3 PM) Library’s Storytime Room The Reedsburg Public Library is thrilled to have a R.E.A.D. dog as part of the Summer Library Program. Children of all ages are welcome to read to a dog that has been trained for this national literacy program.

	Hamster Olympics Thursday, July 26 @ 6:30pm in the Library’s Community Room. Pet owners will register their rodents to compete in Olympic-style events. Spectators are welcome.
	Incredible Bats Friday, July 27 @ 2 pm in the Library’s Community Room. The entire family is invited to discover the wonder of bats. This multi-media presentation with live Egyptian Fruit Bats will teach us how beneficial these creatures are to us and the world around us.

	Mysterious Creatures of Wisconsin- From Aliens to Sea Serpents Chad Lewis: Wednesday, October 3 @ 7 PM Chad Lewis showcases his on-site investigations to the most mysterious creatures in WI. From the Bigfoot of the north woods and phantom pigs of Door County to alien encounters in Elmwood, deadly witches, and sea serpents. Filled with witness drawings, eye-witness testimony, photos, and sound clips this presentation brings the investigation right to the audience, including directions on where they can have their own paranormal experience. 	Friends of the Library Silent Auction Monday, October 8- Saturday, October 20 A silent auction sponsored by the Friends of the Reedsburg Public Library aimed at raising funds for various projects at the Reedsburg Public Library is set to start Monday, October, 8th and will run through Saturday, October, 20th. Auction items will go on display at the library and on their web site during September. Watch for more information.
