History of Baseball in Reedsburg
Friday, August 1
6:00 PM Reedsburg Recreation Center

Throughout history, there has been nothing more constant than the game of baseball. The sport has endured wars, both within the United States and abroad. Like the country as a whole, the sport has continued to change and mold itself into what we see today. This presentation will cover the complete history of baseball, from its inception to present day and from segregation to re-integration. I will debunk the myth how the game started, talk about those that were not allowed to play America's game and end with discussing the importance of baseball in the community of Reedsburg.
