Network Service Modules

This page is http://www.scls.lib.wi.us/staff/modules, last updated June 8, 1996.

Network Services are comprised of many interwoven pieces of software of different types, including clients, servers, bridges, gateways, extensions, helpers and more. For brevity, we'll call these pieces modules. Each network service module is documented here in the LINK Network Services Manual.

If any section here is not hyperlinked (underlined text of a different color), it means that this portion of the documentation tree is currently under construction or is slated for future work. Conversion of existing LINKcat manuals to hypertext will take a long time and is a low-priority project compared to new services already under construction. The full documentation tree may not be completed until 1998.
