What Can I Do on the Internet?
These are the original "dial up" internet accounts most people used up until a few years ago. They utilized a unix command interface to navigate. These accounts are generally regarded as unfriendly to the uninitiated, but quite serviceable once you learn the commands. They are text only and lack the appeal of a graphical interface.
Stands for Serial Line Internet Protocol/Point to Point Protocol. These are the accounts now widely available through local Internet providers. They allow a graphical interface.
This afternoon we'll be showing you in detail how Internet access is provided through the LINK Network. This will be in two ways:
